Windows is often thought of as a desktop operating system for personal computers. But Windows Server Editions can run large servers that allow many computers to connect to it. This course covers an introduction to Windows Server Management. It is ideal for students that want to gain experience for system administration and operations. The course covers setting up Windows servers. Creating and maintaining users on the server and providing authentication and authorization. Resource allocation is also important for servers. Servers often have additional software installed on them. This course covers how to install, configure and uninstall software. Server administration would not be complete without knowing how to secure a server. This is covered also.
